ARRANGING THE PROPERTY VIEWING TRIPS

We recommend Sunny Beach as a starting point for viewing properties on the Black Sea coast, because it is located at less than a two-hour drive from the most Southern and the most Northern point on the Bulgarian seaside. Sunny Beach is the most popular and developed holiday destination on the Bulgarian sea coast and staying here would give you the best idea where the country is heading to.

Sofia is the best starting base for viewing properties in the Bulgarian countryside, because it has the best road connections to any part of the country and the roads to and from Sofia are accessible in any weather conditions.

We work on appointment only basis, so we can allocate sufficient time for you, and be able to arrange viewing trips. You can assure our better service if you provide us with advance information regarding your preferences. This will give us more time to research all the properties that would match your preferences.

Accommodation

Biodar Real Estate has agreements with some major hotels so our clients can be accommodated at discount prices. In addition we offer serviced apartments for rent in the area of Sunny Beach and Sofia at lower prices than the standard hotel fares.

Viewing trips, traveling, airport and hotel pick-up

We do not charge you for organizing viewing trips! We arrange at least five inspection viewings per day, matching the client's requirement, and cover all our costs. If a company car is used for traveling to longer distances (above 30km) we expect our clients to cover the petrol and wear costs, which are about 20 euros per 100 km. Long distance traveling is usually required for viewing properties in the countryside. We appoint an English speaking agent who will take you to the inspection sites and then guide you through your stay in Bulgaria. Biodar Real Estate will also take care to arrange your connections to and from the airport. On the day of the viewing our representative would pick you up from the hotel free of charge.

Flight and visa information

Direct international flights are available to the capital Sofia, all year round. There are daily connections from Sofia to Bourgas and Varna. Direct charter flights to the Black Sea (Varna or Bourgas) are available during the high season spring and summer months.

During the winter season Balkan Holidays offers direct charter flights from up to 20 regional UK airports. Balkan Holidays has one- and two-week special ski offers in Borovets and Pamporovo starting from 200 pounds, so it is suitable to have viewings organized during your stay there. Off-season flights to the Black Sea require an onward internal flight from Sofia. Flights can be booked through most travel agencies in your country.
 

EU residents automatically receive a three-month stay entry (free of charge). It can be extended later locally. Longer stays can be arranged locally dependent on circumstances. Visa control has been considerably relieved between the UK and Bulgaria following Bulgaria's invitation to join the European Union.
