Before I made my purchase with Biodar I had asked Amanda for the exact location of the development. The reason being that I had already been out to Bulgaria on an inspection trip with another agent.You guessed it the develpoment was miles away and further inland than expected. Within a very short time Amanda came back to me with the details including Km's from Sunny Beach. I made my purchase and recently went out to take alook around Sunny Beach and Nessbar. We have purchased an apartment in the Panorama complex in Stoikite last May and visited the site in February this year. It was such a relief to find that the complex is in such a beautiful position with unspoilt views from all directions, it is so difficult to know when you buy from a computer generated picture. We have visited Pamporovo 4 times and really love the area and find it to be a very welcoming village with plenty to do. The slopes have been upgraded and although there has been more development in the area since the first time we visited it has been done well and there are no awful eyesores. We are going back in July to get a taste of Bulgaria in the summer and have been told it is very beautiful. We chose Biodar for our purchase as they were the one's marketing the property and initally dealt with Albena who was very helpful and always responded to our enquiries. We have since made contact with Amanda and will contact her from now on as she is in this country and more accessible. If anyone wishes to contact us please don't hesitate to do so. Jill and Frank |

I came across Biodar through an advertisement in one of the national news papers, i phoned and have spoken to Amanda and Karman on numerous accasions they were both extremely helpfull. I was suprised that they had there own in house lawyer, this was very comforting, i have not as yet made a purchase but will be doing so in the near future. In the past i have spoken to atleast 20 different agents in england none of which have been as helpfull as Karman and Amanda. Amanda has offered to travel 2 hours to meet me i found the service provided friendly proffessional and very comforting. From my exstensive research Biodar is the most honist company i have ever come across. If you are thinking of purchasing property in Bulgaria this company i can highly recomend. My financial adviser and i had a discussion regarding future investments. I already have a large property portfolio but thought i would exspand and start a bullgarian portfolio this seems the coolest thing at the moment. I was told to contact Amanda as i have invested with her in the past in england. She has put me on the right track and when she has found me a large development i will be going ahead, Karman and Amanda are cool, cool, cool (wow female body guards). I had been thinking about buying abroad for some time but have always found reasons for not persuing, Legal, don't know the system, horror stories etc.etc. I eventually decided to take some action and am so grateful that I found Biodar. Amanda has been fantastic (and still is). If I can't get hold of her straight away by phone she always calls back that same day - I don't know when she finds time to relax, but it is very comforting for me. I think I have made the right decision in buying an apartment in the Panorama complex, Stoikite (Pamporovo) but I know I have made the right decision buying through Biodar. |

Purchasing properties abroad can be very daunting, especially for 1st timers!, but Amanda has made it all a lot simpler. She is always willing to answer our questions, no matter what the time! I can't thank Amanda enough, i spoke to many other Uk agents and there was no personal touch and i could not get hold of anyone after office hours, i then found Biodar on New Years day, i called expecting to hear an answer message, but no i got Amanda on the phone and i spoke at length, i have called her at 10pm on Sundays, she is always there to help seven days per week, she works very long hours and is simply the best. Wow finally a company with a personal touch and very proffesional, late office hours. What more can i say, i will recomend Amanda at Biodar to all my collegues, she really is a breath of fresh air. I would like to share some thoughts based on a comparisation of different agencies since if you have had experience only with Biodar you might not even know how others work. :) One year ago (2003 Sept) I went to Sunny Beach with the purpose of buying an apartment in a complex and rent it out. I arranged appointments with two agencies - including Biodar - I found both of them on Internet. Before I went to Bulgaria I agreed with the agencies what complexes I was going to visit and also the sq. meter prices was discussed in advance. I was facing two quite different services in terms of quality. Agency number one: First of all I needed to pay some money just for visiting the possible properties I was interested in. This agency sent someone to me who was not even prepared what properties we were going to visit - once we managed to clearify over the agent´s mobile phone with the real agent they immediately said that their prices jumped up around 10% comparing to what we discussed 5 days before my Bulgarian visit. I know that the prices in Bulgaria are growing fast but really that fast!? :) Anyway, I decided to check the locations - but we could finally visit only two of them and out of these two only one was what I really wanted to visit - the others were not accessible for some reasons. I had the feeling that they really did not care about anything but only getting quickly the fee for the visits and that is all. Biodar: Ivo came to pick me at the hotel - he was prepered already with the list of the properties we agreed earlier to visit plus some more that he thought would match to my interest and my budget. He was detachedly describing the advantages/disadvantages of all the visited properties - giving me better chance choosing the best apartment fitted to my expectations. Since I was planning to let the apartment out he offered his help for furnishing it and for managing the rental procedure in the future. During my stay on the Sunny Beach I found few complexes that were being advertised directly by the constructor but I faced few problems. The biggest one is that in this case you got service from no one of getting through the whole purchase procedure. Furthermore, at least those constructors I talked to were not prepared to arrange the furnishing not to mention the property rental later. Other thing is that few of them speak no foreign languages. At the end of my one week stay I chose the apartment that I found very attractive to me but during this one week one of you English guys took it away from me! :(( :) I am still planning to buy an apartment in Bulgaria and I am going to use Biodar because of the trust in them and the above mentiond experiences. I am still in touch with Ivo since then and he is always helpful giving me more info about properties that are new on their website. I have had experience of purchasing property abroad and one thing what I had to realise is that once you bought the property you need always someone local you can personally rely on even after the purchase because of whatever issue you might come across regarding to your property what needs to be managed quickly. |

My friend and have recently purchased apartments through Biodar real estate. We found Ivo the agent very helpful. When you are buying property abroad you need to feel you can trust the people you are dealing with. From the first meeting with our agent he was very helpful giving good advise and genuinely acting for the customers best interest. Ivo also helped out with furnishings and air con he spent time takeing us around the shops advising on best value and translating our requirements. Even after completion of services from Biodar we remain in contact and have received help and advice when requested. From our experience we would highly recommend Biodar real estate. |

I bought one in Ravda from Ivo@Biodar and must say the whole process was reasonbly straight forward, i would almost say it was easier than purchasing in the UK/Ireland. He was ever willing to help and i intend to visit in mid June to hopefully arrange with Ivo the furnishing of both apartments - i will let you know my update on my return! |

As well as being a very professional service I have also found Biodar makes looking and buying property in Bulgaria interesting and good fun. In september 2003 I visited bulgaria for a holiday with no intention of buying a property. I was so impressed with what I found that I contacted Biodar by phone and was quickly contacted by Ivo who was able to shgow me round a wide range of properties and explain all the issues linked with buying in Bulgaria. Nothing was too much trouble. It has resulted in my buying a property due to be completed shortly. The service that Ivo gave did not stop with the purchase he has updated me on the progress of work and helped with the furnishing and plans to visit to complete the final signing of the contract and handing over of the property. I am delighted that the service for managing the property has now been started and I shall look forward to making use of this service also. He went out of his way to help me during the buying process and during one visit Ivo took me to furniture shops, organised a kitchen supplier, came to the notary etc and made the whole process very easy. Biodar, a superb real estate agency, I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to purchase property in Bulgaria, especially Ivo, the agent I dealt with. When I went over last year I'd arranged appointments with several estate agents, one never even showed up, another had no properties to show me, Ivo picked me up at the hotel, and showed me many properties in St Vlas, Ravda, Sunny Beach, Varna and Nessebar, overall his personal service was excellent, I ended up buying an appartment overlooking the sea in Ravda, and having bought houses in both the UK and the Netherlands this process was so simple and quick. To sum up, friendly, quick and easy, and compared to others their fees are much lower, Ivo still keeps in touch and if I have any issues he's always willing to help, I look forward to seeing him again when I go over in a few months. |
